There is a reason the fire is marked with an X or Cross . Across cultures, maps, and mystery traditions, an X  has always signified the spot . Not a destination on the surface, but a point of convergence. Two lines crossing—one vertical, one horizontal—spirit meeting matter, heaven meeting earth. Where they intersect, fire appears .
