At the Heart of Creation: The Double Edge of Six

What if we are already creating, but have never learned to create authentically?

We enter a world of rules, expectations, rewards, and identities. We learn how to participate in the exercise before we ask what the exercise is. We shape our lives, yet how much expresses who we truly are, and how much repeats what we have inherited?

This diagram explores that question. I see it as a symbolic dimension within this density of experience. Its place in the larger picture is still unfolding, but its central idea is becoming clearer: we stand at the heart of creation, with the ability to participate unconsciously or authentically.

At the Heart of Creation The Double Edge of Six

My starting point is Verse 42 of the Dao De Jing: the Dao produces One, One produces Two, Two produces Three, and Three produces all things. My diagram builds a personal interpretation around that sequence, connecting numbers, planetary symbols, and centers of awareness.

Three gives birth to all things. Within this model, authentic creation depends on three participating powers: truth expressed through action, wisdom received through intuition, and Divine Intervention through faith and timing.

The diagram contains two triangles meeting at 6. Below the Heart are Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. Above it are Venus, Mercury, and the Sun.

Number

Planet / Chakra

Meaning in this model

3

Saturn / Root

Cronos [God of Time]

4

Jupiter / Sacral

Zeus [God of Gods]

5

Mars / Solar plexus

Ares [God of War]

6

Earth / Heart

Crossroads [Red Sea]

7

Venus / Throat

Divine Masculine [Truth Action]

8

Mercury / Third eye

Divine Feminine [Wisdom Receiving]

9

Sun / Crown

Divine Intervention [Faith Timing]

At 6, we stand where the two fields meet. We are already participating in creation, even when we have little awareness of the patterns directing us.

Below the Heart, creation can happen automatically. We seek approval, defend an identity, repeat familiar reactions, and pursue the rewards we have been taught to value. Our choices produce consequences, but the instructions may come from conditioning we have never examined.

At the Heart of Creation The Double Edge of Six

This is the double edge of six.

Six represents the power to create form. I also associate it with the cube and its six faces—the boundaries through which form can become confinement. We construct a life, adopt an identity, and establish rules. Eventually, we may begin to believe that the structure we inhabit defines everything possible.

The creative power that gives our experience shape can also reinforce its enclosure.

Authentic creation begins when we notice this relationship. At the Heart, we can ask what moves us and whether our choices express who we are.

The upper triangle offers a threefold practice.

At 7, Venus and the Throat, I place the Divine Masculine. Its principle is truth, and its movement is action.

We actively seek truth. We question assumptions, investigate what we have accepted, and find the courage to express what we discover. The Throat gives truth a voice. Our actions give that voice substance.

Authenticity requires agreement between what we recognize, what we say, and how we live. Speaking truth carries a responsibility to embody it—and to remain willing to revise our understanding.

At the Heart of Creation The Double Edge of Six

At 8, Mercury and the Third eye, I place the Divine Feminine. Its principle is wisdom, which I associate with Sophia, and its movement is receiving.

Here we listen. We observe, become still, and allow intuition to inform us. We make room for understanding that cannot be reached by insisting on a predetermined answer.

The active pursuit of truth opens the inquiry. The reception of wisdom allows that inquiry to change us.

These assignments follow the functions within my diagram: Venus takes the masculine role through seeking and expressing truth; Mercury takes the feminine role through receiving wisdom. Masculine and feminine describe qualities available to everyone.

At 9, the Sun and Crown, I place Divine Intervention: the third power.

We have acted. We have opened ourselves to receive. Now we allow room for timing.

This is faith expressed through the ability to wait. There may be a piece we cannot yet see, a circumstance beyond our control, or an understanding that needs time to mature. We remain attentive while allowing that space.

Nine retains its number in the diagram; “the third” describes its role alongside the masculine and feminine powers.

The white circle at 9 symbolizes this openness for me: room for what has not yet been revealed.

Together, these three powers give authentic creation its rhythm:

Seek and express truth. Receive wisdom. Allow the unfolding.

Their relationship matters. Action without receiving can become force. Receiving without action can leave understanding unexpressed. Faith and timing require discernment, including the readiness to act when the next step becomes clear.

The numbers offer another relationship:

3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 42.

The lower field totals 12, the upper field 24, and the heart contributes 6. The upper field is twice the lower.

The arithmetic is exact. The significance I draw from it is interpretive, inviting exploration alongside Verse 42.

The angular structure also belongs to a wider movement in my theory. We encounter turns, choices, and boundaries within creation. Moving through those patterns leads toward the two circles of duality, then toward the One that holds them.

Creation unfolds into multiplicity. Awareness traces a return toward unity.

For me, this is how the exercise begins to realign. At the Heart, we recognize our participation. Through Venus, we seek and express truth. Through Mercury, we receive wisdom. Through the Sun, we allow faith and timing to complete the threefold relationship.

We have the power of six. Becoming aware of how we use that power opens the possibility of authentic creation.

Am I creating from who I am—or from the rules I have never questioned?
